Manager and Tour Guide

Birdwatching is a passion that has been with me since childhood. With more than 20 years of experience in this area, I have developed a professional activity that allows me to share my knowledge with other nature lovers. I am also an eBird reviewer for the Évora district, where I contribute to monitoring the birds that live here.

Tour Guide

He traveled through Europe, Southeast Asia and North Africa. He is particularly interested in raptors and passerines and also in audio recording of nocturnal migration. He is a freelance illustrator having illustrated several endangered species in Indonesia with the aim of raising awareness about the loss of biodiversity, and has also developed environmental education activities in schools in this country.

A little of our history

It was in 2012 that I created Birdwatch in Alentejo® with the aim of sharing the birds that surround me. Over the last decade I have supported clients of numerous nationalities.

The expansion of the activity to new services resulted in the creation of the company Lanius – Turismo e Ambiente, Unipessoal Lda in January 2020.

This change resulted in the development of a new web page with a new domain and as such a new restructuring and new content, leaving space to include previous content that was discontinued but is part of my history. In order not to lose the articles published on the previous website, they were migrated to the following link https://birdwatchinalentejo.blogspot .com/ and also share some articles published in the English press .
