GENERAL REGULATION ON DATA PROTECTION

Since May 25, 2018, the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data – Regulation no. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, which establishes the rules relating to the protection, processing and freedom of movement of personal data of natural persons and which applies directly to all entities that process such data, in any member state of the European Union, namely Portugal. The purpose of this communication is to inform you about the new rules applicable to the processing of your personal data, your rights, as well as informing you of how you can manage, in a direct and simple way, the respective consent.

Our records include data obtained during the commercial relationship you established with us and following various contacts. If you want to save your data and the information you provided or registered, you don't have to do anything. In addition to situations where we process data to comply with legal requirements, we process your data for the following purposes:

  • Tour registration – Whenever necessary, so that we can record your activities (insurance, billing, among others).
  • Marketing purposes – Your personal data is also processed for marketing purposes or to provide you with offers, if you have authorized it. These communications are solely intended to publicize new activities.

Lanius – Turismo e Ambiente, Unipessoal Lda will keep your personal data for the period necessary for your commercial relationship with us for billing and compliance with legal obligations. What personal data do we collect and why?

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The privacy policy for the Gravatar service is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile photo will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Website visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for a year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen options cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, your login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

How long do we retain your data
